[Bug] Adding a .svg file as a new template crashes the with an 'Out of memory.' error

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- add a template using a .svg file
- Click on 'OK'
- Program crashes and gives the cited error message on the command line
Expected behavior
template gets added, no error

- OS: Linux

Yes, I did have screens installed.
In the past I had installed templates on the device over SSH, but no extra templates are currently installed, either in the app or on the device.
