most o3d samples fail on firefox-4b4 and firefox4-pre5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. viewing 
http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples_webgl/o3d-webgl-samples/primitives.h
tml or 
http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples_webgl/o3d-webgl-samples/simpleviewer
/simpleviewer.html 
shows messed up primitives

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is what appears in chrome
what i see is http://graphics.stanford.edu/~danielrh/firefail.png


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using linux i686 firefox 4 beta 4 and firefox4-pre5

What hardware are you using:  graphics card type?  motherboard type?
NVIDIA GTX 280,

i have raised a new topic regarding this issue in the o3d discussion a few days 
ago but nobody confirmed it...
it does not depend on graphics card nor on the firefox beta version (also tried 
pre 2 and pre 3).

Interestingly the demo here: 
https://cvs.khronos.org/svn/repos/registry/trunk/public/webgl/sdk/demos/google/s
hiny-teapot/index.html seems to function and it claims to be based on o3d...so 
my guess is it's something to do with what happened between when they forked 
off that sample and now.

Possibly, the firefox team has only been testing on the demos from khronos?

Ya it seems like only the model has been extracted from o3d, the code is 
engineered from ground up
