Google Trends Visualizer - flashes entire display 10 times per second on my laptop

GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue · comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just start the Google Trends Visualizer O3d demo on my laptop Firefox 3.6.3
2. Screenshot of my video driver data is attached
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
My entire LCD flashes alternating between a black screen and the demo
screen at about 10+ times per second. Then it stops for a few seconds,
then repeats. Great difficulty even running TaskManager via ctrl-alt-del.
Problem persisted after reboot because Firefox had same page displayed.
Mouse and keyboard 99% do not work after running the demo.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
O3d doesn't show up in Uninstall programs list so don't know what version
of O3D I'm running. OS: Vista 6.0.6002

What hardware are you using: graphics card type? motherboard type?
HP Pavilon Entertainment PC (17" laptop, 2048x1152x32 video mode).
Graphics card: nVidia (see attached summary of drivers)

Please provide any additional information below.

This demo later worked for me. Nothing changed.
