Lando-mutagen refuses to work without a `services:` key in `.lando.yml`

I believe there are some implicit services, and lando init by default does not generate a services: key for the Landofile. Could lando-mutagen detect the implicit services as well? I.e. lando info shows these services, even without them being configured in the Landofile.
