Use case 6: “reproduce” analysis

Requirements for researcher:

• Name of software
• Location/repository for the exact release that was used
• DOI or other persistent handle for that specific release
• Release has all components necessary for reproducing the work (note that this ideally also means sample inputs and outputs)

I have an interest in this use case, and would be willing to contribute, but it goes much deeper than citation-level metadata. We've discussed the metadata needs for reproducibility in CodeMeta. For full reproducibility, the metadata requirements are extensive. For human-understanding of reproducibility, they are still arduous but more tractable. Need to discuss what we are targeting with this use case.
