APA Citation in KaoBook

Is there anyway to use APA CItations instead of the default kaobook side citations?
Does \usepackage[style=apa]{kaobiblio} work?
not sure about this, will give it a try, i instead just used the apacite package and commented out the kaobiblio dependencies, everything else worked out great. Thank you!
