enableSuggestions:false is not honored on Android

I want to have a multiple lines TextField without suggestions or autocorrect. The use case is for a writing game application.

Ios work just fine using :
keyboardType: TextInputType.multiline, enableSuggestions: false, autocorrect: false
But in an android device I still have the suggestions.

In Android natif you can achieve this using the combination of inputTypes :
android:inputType="textFilter|textMultiLine|textNoSuggestions"
But with flutter I can. only pass one argument
keyboardType: TextInputType.multiline

Based in #75462 by @NickalasB I was able to reproduce this issue on latest Stable and Master channels as well.

This seems to be a regression in engine.

It's very bad usability when people are typing something like a discount code, and then it suggest something different. This issue should get some more priority.

FWIW this is also reproducible on iOS in Flutter 2.5.2 Stable.

For iOS, adding keyboardType: TextInputType.name resolves the issue at the cost of removing multi-line functionality.

On Android, adding both keyboardType: TextInputType.visiblePassword and textInputAction: TextInputAction.newline replaces the suggestions with numbers while keeping multi-line functionality.

Another cost is that the value of the textCapitalization parameter does not have any effect.

Any updates on this? Now have to use keyboardType: TextInputType.visiblePassword to remove suggestions, but it ignores textCapitalization parameter.

I am also waiting for this issue to be solved. Users use the keyboard a lot in my project so it's a lot annoying to see suggestions (or even if you use TextInputType.visiblePassword they will see numbers above the keyboard and it's also annoying).

Yep same for me. I can set keyboardType: TextInputType.visiblePassword and enableSuggestions:false but I still see the unencrypted pin the user enters in the suggestion bar on top of the keyboard... Tested on ios Simulator and real device.
