Bug Report: Cannot getDate when using allowInput and allowInvalidPreload

When using allowInput: true and allowInvalidPreload: true, we encounter the following error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getDate'). As demonstrated in the JSFiddle below:
