I’m slowly descending down the flancia.org rabbit hole.

Are you familiar with Bitcoin? There became a labelling challenge at some point. Are people talking about Bitcoin (the protocol), or n bitcoins (the unit of currency).

I am a Flancian.

If I got this correct, and I might be quite wrong, you (as an individual) use the username Flancia. You call the “place” which exists digitally “Flancia”, and you declare yourself as a Flancian. Is it your expectation that other people will also declare themselves Flancians? Or should they declare themselves by their own term, with their own explanations, like I’d be a Chmacian?

As a point of feedback, I like many of the ideas and aspirations you’re sharing, in fact I’d go so far as to say I share many of the views. But the idea of joining a movement where one person has the same name as the movement, this seems a little tough to swallow. Not to mention confusing.

As a second point of feedback, I find the whole topic, flancia site, agora, etc, to be quite confusing. According to various assessments my intelligence scores above the 95th percentile. My brain structure seems to be that of an aspie (aspergers, autism spectrum, etc). So perhaps to neurotypical, or to people with a higher intelligence than me, or a more appropriate intelligence to this type of material, this content is all cohere and makes sense and is easily understood. But personally, that’s definitely not my experience.

My suggestion would be that if you value accessibility and inclusion, simpler language, introduction of fewer new concepts, and the separation of names and concepts (so not having users with the name of the declaration, etc) could help to make the whole content more accessible.

Anyway, having said all of that, I like the content, foam looks interesting, and I’ll likely spend more time exploring it.
