The loader icon isn't always visible

The Firefox Developer Edition logo at the top left of the page spins when a request is ongoing, but if you scroll down the page and then click on a tool category or on a bug (to open the first comment), then you don't see it spin anymore, making it hard to understand something is actually being done.
