The box 'ubuntu/trusty64' could not be found.

There are errors in the configuration of this machine. Please fix
the following errors and try again:

vm:
* The box 'ubuntu/trusty64' could not be found.

vagrant cachier:
* The following settings shouldn't exist: synced_folder_opts

@ Develop install of Trusty

Vagrant 1.5.* is needed

I ran into this issue as well the current package for Ubuntu when you run apt-get install is 1.4.

Thanks @coldkey21. For people coming here via a Google search, you can get the latest .deb package directly from Vagrant's download page. sudo apt-get remove vagrant to get rid of the Ubuntu provided version and then install the latest .deb file. Unfortunately, you might get errors on vagrant up if you had Vagrant plugins from a previous version. You can remove the ~/vagrant.d directory and re-install them.
