Primary monitor Inputs don't show up list

This works perfectly for my Dell S2721Q to swap inputs, but my primary monitor(Dell 2716DG) doesn't have any sources show up in the dropdown. It only has "Leave unchanged" as the only option.

Is this something to do with the monitor I'm using or something else?

Let me know if I can check anywhere to find any info needed

Hi Alex,

Could you please download ControlMyMonitor from here, then:

  • Select your monitor in the top list
  • Search the list for VCP Code 60, and let me know the Possible Values?

Also, please open your monitor's OSD (On Screen Display) panel and have a look around for something like DDC or DDC/CI or Display Data Channel and make sure it's enabled.

It does not have VCP 60. It appears that G-Sync gaming monitors do not support DDC/CI based on https://www.dell.com/community/Monitors/S2716DG-Dell-DDM-is-not-supported/td-p/6072319

Are there any workaround or is that the only way?

If you find a way to change input using something else (eg. some Dell software), I might be able to bundle it in with SimpleKVM.
