cancelling a radio play request

When I'm waiting for a radio to return a result and play, if I try to play another radio, if the first radio play result came, it starts to play the first radio even if it was the second radio that is currently selected.
How can I cancel a radio play request, if the user starts to play another radio?
saw the same issue in other comments. Can be deleted
