Switching workspaces causes re-renders

Hey, this might be a duplicate of #166, sorry about that. I'm working on a widget that would stream a random apple tv areal screensaver to your desktop via html video tags, and it is looking honestly amazing. One thing I noticed though is that when switching workspaces all the widgets flicker (re-rendered i assume). Really want to get this working and was wondering if there's a way to disable the re-render when switching workspaces, or if you'd know a way to make the widget run a keyframe on re-render for more subtle refresh of the widget. Right now the flicker of the fullscreen live wallpaper is really noticeable.

Edit: Seems like this is an issue for video tags specifically, since other widgets that do not use video don't flicker. I assume the browser stops rendering the video when switching workspaces because it thinks the video isn't visible. Any fixes for this?

I am equally annoyed the flicker, but have not found a way to prevent it yet 😅
