Bankai has considered statics assets, but here there is no support for them. Would be cool to add it.
Now, I would send a PR but I'm not sure if you guys want to wait for the next version of bankai to be released or would like to patch this plugin with the actual bankai version used?

Since the next release of bankai is very close I would like to wait for it and then update this module if needed :)
