What is the difference between Unity and Photon?

Unity Engine is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies and used to develop video games for PC, consoles, mobile devices and websites. While Photon Engine is simply fast, reliable, scalable independent networking engine and multiplayer platform. It is not a game engine. It is used to develop and launch realtime multiplayer games globally. Its similar to Unity's networking solution.
