Feature request: changes to the editor

The editor used in snack is pretty good actually, but it lacks some small feature that makes the development more productive. here are my suggestions:
1- Adding shortcuts, creating new files, navigating around opened files, opening the logs tab...etc. I'm using the VIM plugin, and i find myself using the mouse whenever i want to navigate between files.
2- Renaming the files or directories instantly after creating them.
