put in place the project recommender
email recommended projects to people
look at how connnected our users are on facebook currently
make a box for researchers to email their friends (e.g. gilt groupe's mail form)

today i met with sauro and he said he just wants to follow topics or tags and wants emails that show him all the projects that launch in that field
he doesn't have time to come back to the site to check out projects so we need to remind him
he said please do not send me projects that i am not interested in, for example ecology
let users choose waht they want and the give them what they want
