Consider replacing our matchers with an existing 'matcher' library

I will call out https://github.com/Schlechtwetterfront/fuzzy-rs and https://github.com/stewart/rff as possible candidates.

This warrants a bit more investigation, but I suspect it will be a good idea since, frankly, the matching logic I've got isn't great.
