[BUG] katex math strings not rendered

Description

A katex string such as: - "200 UC 46.2: A = 17665.69 mm², $I_{xx}$ = 207513620.29 mm⁴, $I_{yy}$ = 116816010.98 mm⁴" does not render correctly - it worked briefly in previous version but now seems to be broken again.
