New Steam Client requires a File Chooser

The new Steam client requires a file chooser, more information here.

Buttons on Steam that use to open the old Steam file manager now no longer work (non beta and beta are now the same version). Buttons like adding a non-steam game then clicking "Browse..." should bring up a file chooser but it doesn't.

I've downloaded another xdg-desktop-portal that has a file chooser to fix the issue.

I have xdg-desktop-portal, xdg-desktop-portal-gtk and xdg-desktop-portal-wlr-git installed. Installing xdg-desktop-portal-gtk should get it working.
