Can't stir the crucible

Describe the bug
No matter what I try I do not seem to be able to stir the crucible
To Reproduce
I first noticed the bug while trying to do the flesh purification artifice. No matter what I try I cannot get the thing to stir. I've tried right clicking, left clicking, various different ingredients in various different phases of the artifice and nothing I try works. That said it is not beyond the realm of possibility that I've missed something obvious
Environment
Playing in ATM6 version 1.5.5 multiplayer on a hosted, dedicated server
