HDRI importer not working

Start with a clear and concise description of what the bug is, then provide:
The problem is rather simple: when i try to import an HDRI it just shows me an error screen. I will attach what it reads at the end.

None of them work. Neither HDRI Haven, nor 3DAssets.one. This is the most recent one i tested:

I thought this might have to do with me running an older Version, but i updated to 1.6.2 and it is still here.
I also tested this in several Blender Versions:
2.91, 2.92 and the 2.93.0 alpha
I am running this on MacOS version 10.15.6 on a Hackintosh with the following specs:
3,6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
32 GB 3200 MHz DDR4
Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB

Yes the error message is helpful thanks for providing it.
I may have found the issue, but could not reproduce myself so am a bit operating in the dark. Could you try this new version of the addon? https://github.com/eliemichel/LilySurfaceScraper/releases/v1.7.0
