Home screen shows non-orphaned rooms

Steps to reproduce
I recently reinstalled Element after changing phones and procrastinating not installing the app for a while.
It looks like the latest version of the app moved some UI elements around (like choosing spaces from the pull-out menu on the left to a little button at the bottom). This is fine with me, whatever.
However it looks like all rooms are showing up on the home screen, instead of only orphaned rooms like it used to before. I can't remember whether that was the default behaviour or whether I had flipped an option to enable it explicitly.
I can't find any option to get that behaviour back, which makes finding rooms which don't belong to any spaces more annoying.

What did you expect?
Have an option to show only orphaned rooms in Home.
What happened instead?
The option does not exist, I get a long list of all the rooms I Joined.
