Purchase Fuel & Car Journey

Does the calculation of the car journey include fuel? Or is that calculated separately through bis fuel. This seems to be double dipping?
I had a similar question. I'm assuming that the car journey is the approx cost of the manufacture of the car, and burning the fuel in the engine, and the separate fuel purchase is the approx cost of extracting, processing and moving the fuel to the pump.
There's lots of similar places where it's possible to double dip, and it's hard to know what the 'right' way to do it it. I'm pretty sure my footprint isn't as low as my current profile would indicate...
