You’ve got hotels in purchases but I aim to stay in hostels as much as possible to reduce my footprint. I’m assuming shared dorms and shared bathrooms reduce heating and cleaning so has to be a little different. Don’t wanna split hairs here but I know different classes of hotel have different average footprints so this could just be 1 star.
That's a good idea. I've really struggled finding a scalable model by stars and by countries, so if you could help us find a source where we could have different factors it'd be great! I'll close for now.

I have seen it before - however it is mainly limited to a few chains and there is very rarely the full palette across a country to be able to make good comparisons and to get a sufficient data input.
