Keep getting this error

Hey! I'm kinda new to linux and kinda a noob
Doing the first step in the installation process i keep getting
gcc: error: hamachid-patcher.cc: No such file or directory gcc: fatal error: no input files compilation terminated
kinda don't know how to proceed so any help is greatly appreciated
There are some typos not fixed yet in the commands.
The correct commands can be found at #2
still getting the same error
hamachid-patcher.cc -> hamachid-patcher.c
