I would suggest substituting [EFF] by the max drought. When you are facing a long draught you are likely to be quite busy handling the pieces to actually take a look at the stats, but it would be great to know what’s the longest drought you managed to deal with at the end of a game.
I have a dht-max-start-level branch from July that adds additional end-game statistics, which included max dht. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with how it looked. I tried multiple variations, including keeping the curtain partially lowered.
If max dht is displayed live in-game (which I do question how useful it is in-game), then it should probably be updated when dht is reset, not continuously. This would be to allow you to see you are on the current max dht and if I let select hide DHT it wouldn't give way dht accidentally until it no longer mattered (because a line came).
