Sound on-off option or volume control

It would be nice to have an option to turn the sound off entirely, or decrease/increase the volume with a keypress. The game audio is quite a bit louder than other web browser media. On Firefox setting permissions "Block Audio" has no effect.
The game is terrific fun and quick to play and replay, thanks for publishing it.
