OpenMandriva Lx 4.2
OpenMandriva Lx is a unique and independent distribution, direct descendant of Mandriva Linux and the first Linux distribution using the LLVM toolchain by default since 2015.
In the OpenMandriva Lx system the users can do anything they are used to doing with the proprietary systems, but it is free and already includes many pieces of software you have to pay for in the proprietary world, from office suites to video editors to games.
What is the release date or cycle?
For stable release, ’Update channel’ is set to Rock by default.
Now OpenMandriva Lx has a Rolling branch available, while also keeping Rock.
Users can switch from Rock to Rolling by mean of Software Repository Selector application.

Who is the target user?
Raspberry Pi owners, AMD Ryzen users.
What platforms does it support?
znver1, x86_64, aarch64 ( RISC-V in the works)
What makes it special?
Includes it's own OM scripts, (DE layout selector, can convert to rolling, or unstable, etc.) Forked from the defunct Mandriva project)
Has builds for Raspbery Pi and Pinephones.
Has either AMD optimised packages and kernel (znver1) or standard x86_64.
