Equipment screen cannot remember MP5KA4 with suppressor is selected

Found issue in SEF 7.1

Step to reproduce:

  1. Select MP5KA4 PDW (SMG version) with suppressor configuration in the primary tab.
  2. Jump to another equipment tab or squad member.
  3. Switch back to primary tab again.

Expected result:

  1. MP5KA4 (SMG version) with suppressor configuration remain selected

Actual result:

  1. FAL rifle with AP round is selected

Other observations:

  1. This issue is not reproducible with MP5KA4 PDW without suppressor.
  2. Ammo type is irrelevant when reproducing this bug.
  3. MP5KA4 with suppressor can be used in missions - the UI only switch back to FAL after step 3) is run.
  4. Issue was found in single player - haven't tried multiplayer yet.

Hello. Indeed, I could reproduce the issue but with slightly different result. In my case, the primary weapon selection switched to MP5KA4 (machine pistol) instead.

Hello, updated my issue description again. I reproduced my original issues using the SMG version of MP5KA4 on the primary tab, not the machine pistol version.

Based on your findings, I try to reproduce the issue using the machine pistol version on the secondary tab and it will then auto default to browning hi-power.

Then I start to select machine pistol version with suppressor on the primary tab then it will just jump between un-suppressed machine pistol version and the un-suppressed SMG version after tab switching. It looks like the UI is confused between the 4 possible different versions of MP5KA4.

Verified the fix worked with the new ini edit.
