Investigate DwC export format when aggregating by subsample

Hi,
For now we've only had specifications on how to produce DwC sample-level grouped data. E.g. present export produces http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P01/current/SDBIOL01/ emof records which computes abundance inside a full sample, which is an Event in DwC terminology.
Several issues here imply that subsample-level should be doable as well, and indeed parentEventID field of DwC Events provide some way of having hierarchical events structure, but some questions remain.
The most important being probably the community adoption of such hierarchy in commonly used publication/validation tools. Also technical questions such as "are forward references of EventIDs allowed" or "which consistency check b/w an event and its parent" ?
