Enhancement proposal: Git Info for network_data

Project is very good but docs is not focused on how to configure each moving part in order to let all the stuff works togheter.
In particular is not clear how to create the git repo in order to let configuration go tru git on network_data folder and how to configure the git info in settings.json.

Generally IMHO, the approach about the docs would be better if oriented to be more "user friendly" rather than "dev centric".
