State of the project

Hello
The project is very interesting, but it seems it didn't receive a lot of maintenance in recent times.
This is obviously completely understandable.
So my question is what's the state of the project? Is it going to be actively maintained or does it just sit in place?
How complete is it? Is it worth using in a macro, or should it be treated just as a very nice proof of concept?

It is a proof of concept, and is not going to be actively developed.
