Crash after multiple minutes running

@drtoast has reported the arduino crashing after several minutes running with just an event per second being generated by the dropsim.
I haven't seen this yet, but maybe there's a memory leak in there somewhere. @drtoast were you using an uno or a mega?
I've seen this happen a number of times. If it's the same thing, the arduino is still running but there are no events coming across the wire. One idea might be to try reconnecting if we haven't seen packets in N seconds. I think I've noticed it more when the dropship router is further away or I'm on a home router.
