Error when configuring a dashboard variable before receiving data

Version v0.2.
How to reproduce:
- Create a dashboard, or edit a dashboard with no Sysdig panels
- Create a variable
- Edit the value
Expected result:
The preview shows results according to the specified value
Actual result:
An error is displayed, the API request to fetch results fails.
