This issue has been moved from a ticket on Developer Community.

Have a VB.Net project using Entity Framework 6.4.4 on .NET Framework 4.8.1. Not sure when error started, haven't had to make new migrations in a while. Have to run 6.4.4 for it to work

This issue has been closed because EF6 is no longer being actively developed. We are instead focusing on stability of the codebase, which means we will only make changes to address security issues. See the repo README for more information.
