Can't delete Django people account

I would like to delete my django people account, however when I click the delete link I receive via email I get an error page saying "Not allowed" upon clicking.

This message means you're either a) not logged in or b) logged in as a different user than the one you're trying to delete. Do you have multiple accounts on the site by any chance?

I believe the issue was that I was not logged in. Once I logged in, then accessed the delete link, it worked. Thank you.
