Comparison with FluidSynth

I am developing a UWP music application, using FluidLite for audio synthesis. For me, the main advantage of using this library is ease of integration in a UWP solution, compared to FluidSynth. That said, I would like to know about its state compared to FluidSynth. Has it diverged significantly ? Am I missing important bug fixes / improvements that are present in the main project ?
To be more specific, I am hearing for some MIDI tracks, and using a custom sound font, a wrong pitch. This is a show stopper for my app. Now, I do not know whether that is caused by my code or possibly a fault in FluidLite that FluidSynth might have fixed already. I would really appreciate more info on the state of this project to decide how to proceed.
