"Archive" command is randomly disabled

Occasionally I cannot "Archive" emails, the hot key does not work and the menu item is disabled. I cannot seem to find a reproducible scenario. Closing and opening the app again enables the command again.
Version 1.0 (192) / 10.13.3 (17D102) / Two mail accounts (fastmail/gmail)

I have seen this too. I see it almost always when hitting a notification and it opens a separate window. The archive button disables. I can then archive from clicking the message in the sidebar after closing it from the separate window.
