How did you exactly build these kernels

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I noticed that when I build an unmodified ARMv5 versatilepb kernel from upstream the mouse does not seem to work in Xorg but when I used your kernel it seemed to work. Please clarify how you build these versatilepb kernels so I can get the mouse working in Mainline.
I'm afraid nobody knows any more, which is why there hasn't been an update for a while (#155).
The scripts are here, but I don't know how to adapt them to newer releases (#152).
