• Checked that a similar issue hasn't already been filed?

• If you're seeing permission errors tried running sudo chown -R $(whoami) $(brew --prefix)?

vi +25 /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf

configuration fails:

nginx -t
nginx: the configuration file /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf syntax is ok
nginx: [emerg] open() "/usr/local/Cellar/nginx/1.19.1/logs/error.log" failed (2: No such file or directory)
nginx: configuration file /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed

manual solution:
cd /usr/local/Cellar/nginx/1.19.1/;
mkdir logs
