better workflow for changing amount/etc. for repeating transactions

Current workflow

• set end date of current repeating transaction
• create copy of old repeating transaction in new month
• adjust amount
• save

Idea

• automatically set end date of current repeating transaction to one day before current occurrence
• automatically create copy with date of current occurrence
• manually adjust changed properties (amount, ...)
• save

problems

• it is unclear to the user which occurrence he is editiing rigt now, because the date is always the date of the first transaction in the repetition
• new button may be seen as save button but it's not

--> dropdown button on edit button for repeating transactions
--> do not open original transaction for edit
--> manipulate old and open new transactions page with copy
