the Apache 2 license requires to provide the following info:

you may not use this file except in compliance with the License.

Would it be possible to add this information? (e.g. on top of the license or somewhere within the readme)

As far as I am concerned, the appendix boilerplate is a recommendation, not a requirement. This package instead tags files with an SPDX short-form identifier to "communicate FOSS license information in a simple, efficient, portable and machine-readable manner".
Okay, then I misunderstood it. Sorry for that. But would it possible to bring up a copyright notice or don't you want to have one? Just asking because within our detection tool this library just poped up because there is no copyright notice left.
