New Project gives "Project Folder already exists and is not empty"

After clicking Finish in the New Project wizard an error message is displayed saying "Project Folder already exists and is not empty".
The folder did not exist before starting to create the project.
If I click cancel I can go and open the new project so it was actually created successfully.
