Cannot Find .env file for Demo App

I have put the .env file in the root directory of the Demo App, but I am still getting the "No .env file found in...." Any thoughts? Thanks

So just to check, your folder structure is like so?

I renamed the file, but the extension still had "env.example" on it. after I took it off, ran like a dream!
