This project is in maintenance mode, so a big change like this is not something we can support.

@dain Then why you created this project if you don't want a good benefit and do some performance.

I started this project 8 years ago, but haven't done much with this in the past 6 years. Instead I have been investing my time in https://github.com/prestosql/presto, a distributed SQL query engine for big data. Presto is a massive project that consumes all of my time. For this project, I apply bug fixes and simple changes, but I don't have time to review or work on bigger changes, and more importantly, I don't want to destabilize the project for those using it.
