Hello,
is there a way to combine short+long description or export both?
No it is currently not possible to combine both short and long description

I dont think that follows the guidelines for a merchant feed export. What I was thinking about was making it possible to have it Short + long or Long + Short description in the same field, like you can currently choose between them
I think from the point of SEO a unique PLA feed is the optimum. The uniqueness goes with the product description.
Therefore I would like you would officially add the also the option to make use of 'custom' field.
Your module should add this product custom description field to db. Easy would be with the option to copy short or long or both or in any mixture to it (if wanted) or to start with blan data. The copy&paste function would allow us to alter text and so on a bit faster.
I know you should need then a form to make use of this extra field.

Understand your perspective, but I’m not going to add a custom field option to the module.
