MacOS - Unable to detect Scansnap S1100 Scanner

When trying to add a new profile, I am unable to detect my Scanscap S1100.
After some research, it became clear that the S1100 is not supported by typical drivers, however the ''epjitsu" drivers are said to support this model.
I was unable to find any way to install these on the latest MacOS -- until nearly by accident, I installed the demo version of ExactScan.
During my trial, it installed TWAIN drivers for me -- and lo-and-behold, thesee drivers actually bridged to my S1100 from within NAPS2!
If anyone else is looking to set this up, I'm leaving this as a message to whoever gets stuck next. Best of luck!
