Move revised and translated conventions file to Github

Currently, the conventions are stored in the wiki in German only but they are most important for Github, right?
As in the title, I'd move them to Github and would like to link them from the relevant places, e.g. readme file(s).
@MarcelCoding not sure if you are involved here as well. Check the linked PR, there are some open points. Feel free to close the PR/issue if they don't make sense.
